The Game
Phantom Relic Empire is a fast, readable 5v5 arena. Two teams contest the Relic across a three-lane map; carry it to the enemy vault before the eight-minute round timer burns out. No pay-to-win, no loot boxes — every character unlocks through play.
We build and balance the game from a small studio on Great Titchfield Street. Patches ship every second Wednesday, and our design leads publish the reasoning behind every number change in the public changelog.

How to Climb
Every account starts in the same place. Here is the road the ladder actually rewards.
Register free, pick a House banner, and run the interactive tutorial. Takes about twelve minutes and unlocks your first six characters.
Ten guided practice matches against adaptive bots that teach objective timing, relic hand-offs, and lane rotations before you ever queue ranked.
Your provisional ranked run seeds you into one of nine tiers. Wins and objective score both count, so passive play will not carry you up.
Enter the Thursday Brass Circuit brackets or grind the weekend ladder. Each season lasts ten weeks with a soft reset at the start.
The top 500 players on each regional ladder earn the Empire crest, studio-verified stats, and an invite to the London LAN finals.

Nine tiers, Drifter to Empire
Placement over ten provisional matches. Weekly decay applies above Relic tier so inactive smurfs drop out of the top brackets. Season Pass £14.99 adds ranked replays and macro heatmaps.
Live tournaments, Thursdays
Open brackets every Thursday 19:00–23:00 GMT. £5 entry, single elimination, prize pools from £500. Streamed live from the Fitzrovia studio with studio casting on the grand finals.

Yes. The full roster, ranked ladder, and every map are free. The optional £14.99 Season Pass adds cosmetic banners, ranked replays, and macro heatmaps — none of which affect gameplay balance. There are no loot boxes.
The game runs on Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+. You need a quad-core CPU, 8GB RAM, and any GPU from the last six years. We target a stable 120fps on mid-range hardware and 60fps on integrated graphics.
You play ten provisional matches that seed you into one of nine tiers, from Drifter up to Empire. Both match wins and your objective score count toward placement, so supporting the relic carrier matters as much as kills.
Open brackets run every Thursday from 19:00 to 23:00 GMT. Entry is £5, format is single elimination, and prize pools start at £500. Sign-ups open on the Monday before each bracket and close two hours before start.
